The Nursing Bridging Program at Paramount Polytechnic in Oyen, Alberta, is a 1-year certificate program tailored for Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs). Admission Requirements

Education:
• A recognized nursing degree or diploma from outside of Canada

English Language Proficiency:
• IELTS (Academic) – Overall band score of 7.0 (no section below 6.5)
• TOEFL iBT – Minimum score of 92 (no section below 23)

Additional Documents:
• Letter from CRNA outlining bridging requirements
• OR proof of RN licensure (international or Canadian)
• OR credentials aligned with CRNA’s competencies
• Updated resume/CV
• Statement of Intent
• Two professional references

Immunization:
• Proof of Rubella and other Alberta Health required vaccinations
Note: Students unable to meet vaccine requirements may be ineligible for clinical placements.
